Getting Ready

  • Exercise: Make sure your pet has had a good amount of exercise either with some playtime or a long walk before the session. This will help them release energy and be more relaxed and focused during the photoshoot.

  • Feeding: Feed your pet a light meal or snack no sooner than 2 hours before the session. This will help prevent them from getting hungry and distracted during the session but also remain interested in some yummy treats.

  • Toileting: Take your pet for a bathroom break just before arriving for their session.

  • Comfort: Although, we will have toys and treats available at the studio, pack familiar items that comfort your pet, such as their favorite toys or blanket.

  • Preparation: If your pet has any special needs or behaviors we should be aware of, please let us know in advance.

  • Grooming: Ensure your pet is recently bathed and/or groomed before their big day. Brush their fur, trim their nails, and clean their ears and eyes if needed.

  • Outfit: If you have any outfits or accessories you'd like your pet to wear, bring them along.

After the Session - Portrait Viewing

  • Viewing: In order to reduce any stress on your pet, we will work with you to schedule a presentation appointment at a later date which typically is a few days to a week following your session. This is the really rewarding part when you get to relive the fun of your portrait session and view some beautiful images.

  • Ordering: This appointment will be done in person at the scheduled viewing appointment. At this time, you will view, select and order your favorite images from the session. *It is important to have all decision makers present during this presentation as this is the only time you will be selecting and purchasing your favorite portrait(s).

The Artwork

  • Artwork: As a fine art portrait studio, we create beautiful, heirloom wall portraits and exceptional tabletop art prints. They are archivally printed, mounted and UV coated for protection so that they will look beautiful and will last for many years. These portraits are about cherishing your pet's unconditional love and celebrating that bond. And we believe in doing so with meaningful art pieces to treasure every day.

  • Investment: We offer a wide range of portrait styles and sizes from tabletop to sofa sized. Our fine art portraits begin at only $500 and go up from there to $10,000 for the largest piece. What each family chooses to do is different for everyone but most people spend about $1500-$2000. The choice is yours and we are here to you help you select what you truly love most!
