What kind of pets do you photograph?

We love all kinds of furry, feathered, and scaled friends! From playful pups and cuddly kitties to curious birds and scaly buddies, we're happy to capture their unique personalities. To schedule a session for your feathered or scaled friend, please contact us directly at 617-712-2777.

How many pets can I bring to the session?

Since we allow up to 60 minutes for each session, we can accommodate up to 2 dogs/cats per session. But if you have 3 or more, please call us at 617-712-2777 so that we can work with you to coordinate the details and schedule an appropriate time.

Where are the photo sessions held and how long do they last?

At Fur Baby Pet Studio, all our sessions take place right here in our convenient Beacon Hill location. Most photo sessions last between 45-60 minutes. This allows plenty of time for your pet to get comfortable and for us to capture a variety of poses and expressions.

What should I bring to the photo session?

Please bring your pet's favorite toys, treats, and any special outfits or accessories you’d like to include in the photos. If your pet has any special needs, let us know in advance.

Booking and Payment

How do I book a photo session?

You can book a session through our website, by phone, or by completing the contact form directly. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Can I reschedule a session?

We require 72 hours notice to reschedule an appointment. Rescheduling an appointment with less than 72 hours notice will result in a loss of the reservation fee. Reservation fees on appointments rescheduled with more than 72 hours notice are applied to the new appointment. We understand that things may come up so one rescheduled appointment is allowed. Additional rescheduled requests beyond this will require a new reservation fee. Cancelled appointments with less than 72 hours notice will result in loss of the reservation fee. Missed or no showed appointments will also result in the loss of the reservation fee.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and payments through Affirm. Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your session.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer payment plans through Affirm. This allows you to spread the cost of your session and products over several months with manageable monthly payments. Simply choose Affirm at checkout on our website.

During the Session

My pet is very energetic/shy. Will this be a problem?

Not at all! We have experience working with pets of all temperaments. We will take the time needed to make your pet feel comfortable and relaxed.

Can I be in the photos with my pet?

Absolutely! We love capturing the special bond between you and your furry family member.

What if my pet has an accident during the session?

Accidents happen! We are prepared for this and have cleaning supplies on hand. There is no need to worry.

After the Session

How long will it take to see my photos?

We want to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone involved. That's why we schedule a separate viewing and ordering appointment, typically within a few days to a week of your session. This is where the magic truly unfolds! You'll have the opportunity to relive the fun of your pet's photoshoot and witness their captivating portraits come to life. During your in-person ordering appointment, a friendly member of our team will guide you through a selection of stunning images and assist you in placing your order. Since this is the only time for finalizing your selections, we kindly recommend that all decision-makers are present at the viewing and ordering appointment. This ensures everyone can contribute to choosing the perfect portraits to cherish for years to come.
